This unlocking will be done where the COVID positivity rate and occupancy of oxygen beds have come down considerably, added Wadettiwar.

This was decided in the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) meeting chaired by Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

The Maharashtra government has said that the implementation of these 5-level unlock strategies will be done after a detailed review.
