Fourth of July events are planned in Fall River and New Bedford

Looking for something fun to do on the Fourth, or maybe even the third or the fifth? From parades and fireworks to old fashioned picnics and concerts, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the holiday this year.  

July 1

MIDDLEBORO

Carnival: The Middleborough Park Department will host its annual carnival from 6 to 10 p.m. June 30 to July 4 at the Pierce Playground, 26 Jackson St., Middleboro.

July 2

MIDDLEBORO

Carnival: The Middleborough Park Department will host its annual carnival from 6 to 10 p.m. June 30 to July 4, 2021, at the Pierce Playground, 26 Jackson Street, Middleboro.

Fireworks: The Fireworks display will be held at 10 p.m. July 2, 2021, at  Battis Field/Pierce playground, Jackson Street, Middleboro. 

July 3

SEEKONK

Independence Day Thrill Show and Fireworks:  The Fireworks Thrill Show at Seekonk Speedway will take place from 5 to 9:30 p.m. on July 3.  It will include Troy City Tactical Spectator Drags, Car and Truck Enduro races and Drags, Powder Puff Race, Crazy Figure 8 Races, and end with spectacular fireworks. Children under 5 admitted free; children ages 6-12: $12; and adults: $25. Gates open at 2:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 5 p.m.

MARION

Fourth of July Horse Show: The 74th Marion Fourth of July Horse Show will kick off at 8 a.m. on July 3 at Washburn Park. Classes include English, western, saddle seat, driving, miniature horse, and trail.
