My sweetie and I have lost our Internet (we think it’s the modem). Unfortunately, we won’t be getting it back ’till later this week. We’re driving into town to use our church Internet (thank you, Jeromy), but let’s just say we are facing some working limitations. So I’m pulling posts from the archive for a few days. Enjoy some oldies, but goodies.
REDRESS THE STRESS
(Originally posted on March 27, 2018.)
Is life feeling a bit chaotic or stressed?
Take the time this week to examine the factors that might feed into that. Take notes if you need to.
Later this week, or perhaps over the weekend, invite your sweetie to share his perspectives and brainstorm possible changes. Pick one or two to try. Keep examining and making small changes each week until you both feel good about the direction of your life and marriage.
Sometimes life gets away from us and we need to take the time to examine what we’re doing and make changes that will point us in the direction we want to go.
In times of stress, the best thing we can do for each other is to listen with our ears and our hearts and to be assured that our questions are just as important as our answers.
